Why is a 20-hour retainer more expensive per hour than a 60-hour one?
Every engagement needs setup, planning, communication, and context much of it fixed regardless of delivery hours. A larger monthly commitment spreads that across more work and lets the team plan capacity efficiently, which is what brings the hourly rate down.
What does the quarterly discount actually do?
A quarterly commitment reserves capacity across three months, so the team can plan further ahead. In return you get 10% off the full quarterly investment, shown live in the calculator when you switch to Quarterly.
Is project management billed on top of my hours?
No. The PM time shown in the calculator is included within your selected monthly hours. Planning, coordination, meetings, and QA are part of the retainer, not extras.
Are meetings included?
Yes. Regular check-ins and working sessions are part of every retainer and count within your agreed capacity, never billed separately.
Can I change my hours later?
Retainer capacity can usually be adjusted for a future billing period, subject to team availability and your agreement. Quarterly plans hold for the three-month term.
What if I need more than 160 hours a month?

Is the calculator a final quote?
