MyFuture is a comprehensive online platform that connects job seekers with employers in an innovative and efficient way. Unlike other job portals, MyFuture focuses on optimizing the hiring process by finding a better match between applicants and employers, while also reducing time and costs on both ends.
To achieve this goal, MyFuture offers a range of features to assist job seekers in their job search, including a personal profile with a dynamic dashboard, CV and motivational letter creation tools, and a commute time calculator. In addition, the platform provides a range of services to help employers find the right candidate for their open positions.
Our team was tasked with creating the brand identity, UX and UI design for both the mobile and web versions of the MyFuture application, as well as the website design. This involved a deep understanding of the job market and the challenges faced by both job seekers and employers.
We started by conducting extensive market research to understand the needs and pain points of our target users. Based on this research, we developed a clear brand identity that would appeal to both job seekers and employers and differentiate MyFuture from its competitors.
Next, we designed the user experience and interface for the MyFuture app and website, ensuring that it was easy to use and navigate. We also incorporated various features and tools to help job seekers find the right job and employers find the right candidates.
Our goal at myFuture was to create a visual distinction between job seekers and employers, and we accomplished this through the use of color. Blue, a symbol of trust, dependability and confidence, was chosen to represent job seekers and the green, which implies growth and success was chosen for the employers.
In order to keep consistency in the branding and make it easy for users to identify with their role, this same color scheme was carried over to the web and mobile apps. Job seekers are greeted with a serene blue interface, while employers are welcomed with a vibrant green. This not only helps to clearly differentiate between the two groups, but it also creates an emotional connection with the user and helps them to feel more at home in the platform.
By creating a visual distinction and emotional connection with the color scheme, we aimed to not just make the platform more visually appealing, but also to make it more intuitive and user-friendly for our users. And it is this attention to detail that sets myFuture apart in the job market.
The iconography for the MyFuture brand was carefully crafted to effectively convey the brand's values and message. The use of clean, modern lines and bold colors reflects the innovative and forward-thinking nature of the platform.
The icon set was designed to be versatile and cohesive, allowing it to be used across a variety of mediums and contexts. The icon set includes a range of icons that represent key features and functions of the MyFuture platform, including icons for job search, personal profiles, resume creation, and more. These icons are used throughout the platform to help users quickly and easily navigate and use the various features and tools available.
The custom designed iconography is an integral part of the MyFuture brand, helping to visually communicate the brand's message and values in a clear and cohesive way.
After finalizing the brand identity for MyFuture, Devolfs began working on the user experience and user interface of their web and mobile application. Our process started with creating wireframes, which helped us to define the layout, flow, and functionalities of the application. With the goal of making the platform easy to navigate and use for both job seekers and employers, we paid particular attention to creating a clean and modern design that would be intuitive for users.
From the wireframes, we moved onto creating a design system for the application, which included the visual design elements such as typography, color scheme, icons, and other design components. This design system helped us to maintain consistency throughout the application and make sure that the design met the needs and preferences of both job seekers and employers.
We worked on two distinct sides of the application, one for job seekers and one for employers, each with its own set of features and functionality. For job seekers, we created a user-friendly interface that made it easy to search and apply for jobs, create and manage a personal profile, and track the status of their applications.
For employers, we focused on creating a streamlined and efficient process for posting job listings, managing and reviewing applicant information, and communicating with potential hires. We also included features such as employer's dashboard and analytics to help them to optimize the hiring process and make more informed decisions.
Besides Brand identity, web and mobile applications, Devolfs was responsible for designing the landing page for their product. The main goal of the landing page was to provide users with all the necessary information about MyFuture, including the features and benefits of using the platform, as well as to showcase their mobile applications.
We began by conducting user research and understanding the needs and pain points of the target audience. From there, we worked on creating a user-friendly and intuitive layout for the landing page, which would guide users through the key features and benefits of MyFuture.
To ensure that the users understand how MyFuture can help them and what they will benefit from using the platform, we have clearly presented the value proposition in a prominent location on the page, and highlighted the key features through clear and compelling messaging and visually appealing graphics.
In addition to highlighting the features of the web application, we also made sure to showcase their mobile applications, as they are a key component of the MyFuture platform. To do this, we included mockups of the mobile app interfaces, along with information on their features and how they can be downloaded.
Throughout the design process, we paid close attention to details, consistency, and accessibility, ensuring that the landing page is easy to navigate and understand.
The results of the MyFuture project were outstanding. By creating a comprehensive brand identity, user-centered UX and UI designs, and an informative and visually-appealing landing website, we were able to effectively communicate the value of the MyFuture platform to both job seekers and employers.
